• Create a rough area plan on paper. Measure all the dimensions of your new plot and set certain distances for each of the vegetables. Give enough spaces between each plant. Always remember that these small vegetables may grow into bigger ones thus, you have to make a good estimate on this.
• Assess for the condition of the soil. Once it is completely thawed, then you can now start to plant the crops that you have prepared. If you have spinach, lettuce, beets, cabbage, carrots, and peas, then you can plant them first.
